【摘要】:8/23/1994ThiscodeappliestorefrigeratingsystemsandheatpumpsusedintheoccupanciesdefinedinSection3.Itdoesnotapplywherewateristheprimaryrefrigerant.Application:ThisCodeshallapplytorefrigeratingsystemsinstalledsubsequenttoitsadoptionandtopartsreplacedandcomponentsaddedafteritsadoption.Equipmentlistedbyanapprovednationallyrecognizedtestinglaboratoryisdeemedtomeetthedesign,manufacture,andfactorytestrequirementssectionofthisCode,fortherefrigerantorrefrigerantsforwhichsuchequipmentisdesigned.Exceptions:Incasesofpracticaldifficultyorunnecessaryhardship,theauthorityhavingjurisdictionmaygrantexceptionsfromtheliteralrequirementsofthisCodeorpermittheuseofotherdevices,materialsormethods,butonlywhenitisclearlyevidentthatequivalentprotectionistherebysecured.
