【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesrequirements,recommendationsandmethodsforthemanufacture,testingandselectionofthreadcompoundsforuseonISO/APIroundthread,buttressthreadandproprietarycasing,tubingandlinepipeconnections.ThetestsoutlinedwithinthisInternationalStandardareusedtoevaluatethecriticalperformanceproperties,andphysicalandchemicalcharacteristicsofthreadcompoundsunderlaboratoryconditions.Thesetestmethodsareprimarilyintendedforthreadcompoundsformulatedwithalubricatingbasegrease.Itisrecognizedthattheremaybematerialsusedforthelubricationand/orsealingofthreadedconnectionsforwhichthesetestmethodsarenotapplicable.ThisInternationalStandardisnotintendedfortheevaluationofcompoundsusedwithrotaryshoulderedconnections.SuchevaluationisdescribedinAPIRP7A1.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotaddresstheenvironmentalissuesassociatedwiththeuseanddisposalofthreadcompounds.
