【摘要】:Coatingsattachedtosubstratesareelongatedwhenthesubstratesarebentduringthemanufactureofarticlesorwhenthearticlesareabusedinservice.Thesetestmethodshavebeenusefulinratingattachedcoatingsfortheirabilitytoresistcrackingwhenelongated.Theyhavebeenusefulinevaluatingtheflexibilityofcoatingsonflexiblesubstrates.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoftheresistancetocracking(flexibility)ofattachedorganiccoatingsonsubstratesofsheetmetalorrubber-typematerials.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
