【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementsfornickelelectrodepositedcoatingsthatareappliedtoironandsteel,tozincalloys,tocopperandcopperalloys,andtoaluminiumandaluminiumalloystoprovideanattractiveappearanceandcorrosionresistance.Inaddition,itspecifiesrequirementsforcopperplusnickelcoatingsappliedtoironandsteel,andtozincalloys.Coatingdesignationsthatdifferinthicknessandtypearespecifiedandguidanceisgiveninselectingthecoatingappropriatetotheserviceconditionstowhichthecoatedproductwillbeexposed.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifythesurfaceconditionrequiredbythebasismetalpriortothecoatingprocess,andisnotapplicabletocoatingsonsheetstriporwireinthenon-fabricatedformnortothreadedfastenersorcoilsprings.RequirementsfornickelpluschromiumandcopperplusnickelpluschromiumcoatingsformetallicsubstratesaregiveninISO1456.RequirementsforsimilarcoatingsforplasticmaterialsaregiveninISO4525.ISO4526andISO6158specifyrequirementsforcoatingsofnickelandchromium,respectively,forengineeringpurposes.
